Our Mission and Vision for the Future

Our Mission

A pioneering organization that makes innovation a driver of excellence, youth empowerment the foundation of progress, and specialization its method — achieving a sustainability that creates lasting impact and builds an aware generation.

Our Vision

By 2030, to be Libya’s leading organization in community entrepreneurship through 8 strategic units covering 8 specialized fields — building 80 national and international partnerships, graduating at least 800 specialized community leaders, and empowering 8,000 young men and women to turn their ideas into innovative, sustainable projects.

A Word from the Director General

On the Path of Leadership — Between Purpose and Achievement

Aljaied was founded on a firm belief that true investment begins with people, and that empowering young people and building their capabilities in entrepreneurship, innovation and community development is the path to a more sustainable and prosperous future.

In this spirit, we have launched distinctive initiatives and programs aimed at refining skills, fostering a spirit of initiative, and turning ideas into projects with tangible impact on our community.

Our profile documents our most notable achievements and offers a space for the success stories we have witnessed together and the youth experiences worth telling. It also reflects the active partnerships that have helped widen our impact and strengthen collective work.

Mohammed Al-Awjali Director General
Our Compass
A compass of values, meaning and impact. We believe the right direction matters more than speed, and that real impact is not made in a moment but built over time. That is why we do not seek an achievement to be mentioned, but an impact that extends and a mark that endures. We do not aim to be merely an experiment, but a model for civil work… a model that leaves a lasting mark, and an impact renewed with every generation.
Our Identity at Work

Distinct in Community Entrepreneurship, Modern in Concept

A Path Chosen with Purpose

For us, community entrepreneurship was never a passing concept or a trendy term — it was a conscious choice and a path we believed in from the very first moment. We were among the first to pioneer this approach and put it into practice, turning it from a theoretical idea into a real tool for reforming and supporting society, starting from Misrata and believing in its people’s ability to create change.

From Challenge to Opportunity

We saw in our community’s challenges opportunities to rise, and in people’s needs the seeds of impactful projects. So we embraced an entrepreneurship that puts people at the heart of its priorities and addresses social issues with an innovative spirit and sustainable solutions. From there, we began cultivating a culture of initiative and responsibility — working for society, not apart from it.

Youth Leading Change

We have worked to empower young people to become agents of change — not just recipients of support, but problem-solvers and initiative leaders. We backed their ideas, refined their skills and opened spaces for them to experiment and learn, until their projects became bridges between personal ambition and community need, between entrepreneurship and development.
